  • Is Theraworx Protect safe to put inside the eyes, nose and mouth?

Theraworx Protect is not intended for oral ingestion, and it should not be put directly in the eyes, as it may cause irritation. If eye contact does occur, rinse thoroughly with water. Our solution is, however, safe to use on the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose and mouth—mucous membranes are the tissues that line the body’s cavities and organs. So, you can safely apply Theraworx Protect around the eyes, on the eyelids, around the nose, inside the nostrils, and around the mouth.

  • How is Theraworx Protect different from soap?

Soap is a hygiene solution that needs to be used with water and rinsed off. Theraworx Protect is a fast-absorbing, no-rinse, advanced hygiene solution. While soap has a higher pH level, which can cause dryness and affect the skin’s barrier,1,2 our product has a low-pH formulation, does not strip the skin of moisture, and supports the skin’s natural antimicrobial barrier and defensive functions.

  • How is Theraworx Protect different from hand sanitizer?

Hand sanitizers are intended for use on just that—the hands. Theraworx Protect is safe to use on the face, and even on the T-zone (around the eyes, nose and mouth). Another big difference is how they affect the skin. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers, which have higher pH levels, can cause dryness and break down the skin’s barrier—damaging the skin’s defensive functions and increasing the risk of infection.1-3 Our product, on the other hand, has a low-pH formulation, does not strip the skin of moisture, and supports the skin’s natural antimicrobial barrier and defensive functions.

  • Does Theraworx Protect prevent or treat COVID-19?

We cannot make any claims about preventing or treating COVID-19 specifically. But Theraworx Protect is a clinically proven hygiene solution that can be used on the hands and around the eyes, nose and mouth—the areas that leave us most vulnerable to infections, viruses, and other illnesses. Healthcare professionals can request to receive our clinical data.
